Meet Cathelinos

Hey everyone! I'm Cathelinos, a hobby artist creating Paladins artwork since 2019. When Angemon asked me to participate on this collab, I got hit with a lot of emotions. This game and this community has meant so much to me through the years. From isolation during the Corona crisis, this community was hear to give support, kindness and company. I've started to improve my art skills, and drew a lot of fanart. These characters gave me so much joy and drawing them got addicting. I put every artwork on my door as a trophy but also reminder what this game has brought me. It gave me friends, joy and laughter. But unfortunately, nothing lasts forever.

Slowly I saw the community we've build over the years decline as the support for Paladins got less and less. Until after a long day at my Neurology internship (I'm a 5th year medicine student) I saw the devatating message that the development of the game will cease to exist. This hit me like a truck. Unfortunately due to my busy schedule and my lack of motivation I could not create a new artwork for this collab, but I submitted an old artwork, or rather inside joke for this piece.

I want to thank Angemon, for being so patient with me during the last few months. And I want to thank the community for their support throughout the years. I still hope one day the game will receive the funds they deserve, these 5-6 years have been unironcly life changing. And I can say with confidence my life wouldn't have been where it was without this game. I love you all, Cath ❤️
